Unitrade 2011 OOD was established in 2011 in the city of Sofia, with its main scope of business being collection, shipment, and temporary storage of recyclable non-ferrous metal waste.

The main activity of the company is collection, storage, pretreatment and trading with waste from ferrous and non-ferrous metals and metal packaging, end-of-life vehicles (ELV), waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) and waste batteries and accumulators (WBA) on the local and foreign markets. Together with this main activity, the company also performs collection, storage, pretreatment and trade with plastic, paper, nylon and glass waste.

To perform its activity Untried 2011 is subject to authorization system. For that purpose, in correspondence with the Waste management act permits are issued by:

Regional Inspectorate of Environment and Water Sofia for the facility in Sofia District

Regional Inspectorate of Environment and Water Pernik for the facility in Kustendil

Regional Inspectorate of Environment and Water Pazardjik for the facilities in Vetren and Velingrad

Regional Inspectorate of Environment and Water Pleven for the facilities in Cherven Briag and Lukovit

Regional Inspectorate of Environment and Water Montana for the facilities in Vidin and Lom

Regional Inspectorate of Environment and Water Vratsa for the facility in Kozloduy.

These permits are with unlimited validity and if needed can be replaced or complemented.

Unitrade 2011 is a member of the “Association of the recycling industry” (ARI), which is a legal successor of the citizens’ initiative of the traders of ferrous and non-ferrous metals in relation to their recycling.
